Without electricity, awareness, traffic lights in city non-functional Nitesh Sangral JAMMU, July 15: Though the traffic lights have been installed by the administration in across the city, but no step has been taken to create awareness among the people. Further there has been delay in throwing open the traffic lights as it has missed the June 18 deadline already. It is pertinent to mention here that the traffic department and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) have identified 30 locations where install the lights but the departments have installed total 20 traffic signals in different locations in the city. Taking to TNI Power Development Department (PDD) Chief Engineer Shanaz Goni said that the concerned department has approached them for provide the 30 kilowatt electricity to traffic lights. He was actively involved in misusing the name of the federation and other illegal activities.
