JAMMU, July 03: It seems there is the no secrecy in the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), as marks card of students could be found scattered across the examination wing of the board putting question mark over the claims of officials that everything is safe in their hands.

TNI reporter who recently paid a visit to the BOSE building after receiving number of complaints from the people found that marks cards were scattered all around the room of the examination hall.

It is a open fact that few years a major scandal as it was found that answer sheets went missing from the secrecy block of the board and after an investigation it was found that some employees within were involved in the incident.

“This shows how safe are the documents with the BOSE officials as they are playing with the future of the students. They are totally ignoring the vital point the top secret documents which include the market sheets of the students should not be kept open”, said a source.

Rahul Kumar a student of 10th standard said that he visited the board five times to get the marks card of his class and every time he the concerned clerck sent him back.

“Though the board officials claim that extra security is being maintained to ensure that vital documents are kept in safe hands, the detection of mark sheets in examination hall of the building are raising some vital questions”, said Ram Prakash, a parent of 12th standard student.

However when contacted Joint Secretary Examination Section, B R Sharma said that he is not aware about this issue.

“I have no information about the issue and let me check with the officials. If there is any truth in all this action will be taken against the people involved”, Sharma said.

Sharma said that as far as he knows documents are safe with the respective wings of the BOSE dealing with the examination section.

Interestingly, the joint secretary doesn’t know about such things, which clearly show the state of affairs with.
