Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 15: Incumbent Principal of Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu (GMC&H) is leaving no stone unturned to save the interest of the blue eyed and controversial doctors who have no interest in issues pertaining to medical fraternity and health institutions.

The dictatorial attitude of the Principal can be gauged from a recent episode which took place in GMC on Wednesday, wherein, the officiating Principal as well as incharge officer auditorium Dr. Rakesh Kumar Behal was dictated by Incharge Principal Dr. Sunanda Raina to lock the Auditorium reportedly to refrain faculty members from holding meeting against her blue eyed previous MTA Executives.
It is pertinent to mention here that irked over working of previous Medial Teachers Association- which allegedly failed to take various issues of this institution as well as associated hospitals, the medical fraternity called a meeting on Wednesday to discuss issues pertaining to medical fraternity. The incumbent Principal was informed and requested to open the college auditorium but the auditorium was not opened by officiating Principal as well as Incharge officer auditorium just to appease blue eyed doctor.
The meeting was held in the corridor of the auditorium where it is learnt that more than 60 faculty members slammed the attitude of the Principal and the matter was taken up the Deputy Chief Minister. They also said that if the Principal continued with this attitude, a complaint will be forward to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister.
"Raising serious questions over the intention of the insecure Principal who kneeled down before the influential doctors," a group of senior doctors told Early Times.
One of the senior doctors said, "Principal was saving and appeasing the controversial doctor of a department-who remained in headlines for molesting, harassing and abusing a senior staff nurse a few months back just to appease the minister as the said doctor has close links with him".
