Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 30: Despite an established private medical shop in the premises of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu, the influential lobby is working over night to get prime location inside the new constructed building of IGGDC Jammu to shift the shop at there.
Moreover, the official of IGGDC claimed that the space would be provided to establish medical shop which has been identified by the Committee but as the new building is functional, the lobby is eying on it to occupied space by hook or by crook reportedly.
"A private medical shop is already running inside IGGDC but some influential persons are trying to get a prime space in the newly constructed building of the hospital".

Pertinently, since the shops reopen in Government Medical College and Hospital and its associated hospitals at prime locations, now influential persons are leaving no stone unturned to appease politicians, bureaucrats as well as few officials of concern authority, reliable sources within department told Early Times.
Sources alleged that the administration of the concern hospital is being pressurized to help them to get prime location for shifting medical shop which is running old premises of the IGGDC Jammu with the aim that no one patient's attendant visit outside for buying medicine and almost all patients' attendants visit their shop.
"After functioning of new building and number of departments are functioning there by conducting Out Patient Departments (OPD). Keeping in view of the operators of private medical shop is unhappy and wanted to shift the shop in the new building as soon as possible, "Sources further alleged, adding that some politicians' doors are also being knocked for taking prominent space.

When contacted Principal of IGGDC Jammu Dr. Romesh Singh said he will look into matter and if there will be needed to shift the shop then the space will be provided.
