in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu have created
panic, as more cases were reported on Monday and the enquiry committee,
constituted to probe the case, has virtually failed to find the exact reasons.
Four
more cases of reaction surfaced in GMC&H when patients undergoing treatment
were administrated fluid. Astonishingly, four days back similar case was
reported in the hospital and Minister concerned had ordered an enquiry.
A

hospital and the patients were administered government supplied saline by a
hospital staff on the advice of the concerned doctors of the hospital.
"Soon after, they started shivering and developed dizziness, "he
stated and adding subsequent, attendants of a patient also held arguments with
doctors on duty.
"It
seems the hospital administration has not learnt lesson from last incident,
which happened four days back, and is playing with lives of patients as,
without proper testing of fluid, it being administrated to patients, who come
in Emergency, "Sources at GMC&H alleged.
Moreover,
sources alleged that which report, after conducting enquiry about the fluid
reaction, has been submitted by administration of the hospital to State Health
and Medical Education Department is without find exact reasons behind the
reaction of fluid.
"The
report has suggested that reaction can take place to patients in some cases for
example, due to allergy, Cannula, Glucose, either that person is taking
antibiotic medicines and wrong insertion of medical kit by concerned staff,
"Sources stated.
Sources
alleged that report has become topic of the town as the report which was
submitted few days ago, is unclear and it seem the report has been influenced
to appease and save the skin of concern whosoever.
