22 doctors transferred by State Govt

Jammu, Sept 8: The Health and Medical Education ministry has ordered the following transfers and postings in State Health Department with immediate effect in view of making field functioning smooth and for improving healthcare in state.
As per government order vide 389 and 390-HME of 2015, 22 doctors across the state have been transferred and posted in different hospital.
Dr. GA wani, I/C Assistant Director (R&S), Health Services, Kashmir, is directed to report in the Directorate of Health Services. Kashmir.
Dr. GM Chuloo, Medical Officer, awaiting orders of adjustment in Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as I/c Assistant Director (R&S) Health Services, Kashmir.
Dr. Faheem Alam, I/C DTO. Anantnag has been transferred and posted as I/C Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Anantnag.
Dr. Ashfaq Hassan, Medical Officer awaiting orders of adjustment in Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as I/C DTO. Anantnag.
Dr. Mohammad Tahir Malik, Medical Officer, awaiting orders of adjustment in Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as I/C Medical Superintendent, Trauma Hospital, Kangan.
Dr. Firdous Ahmad, Medical Officer, Block Kalaroos has been transferred and posted as I/C BMO, Sogam.
Dr. Rafiq Hamdani, Medical Officer, Central Jail, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as I/C DHO, Pulwama.
Dr. Javed lqbal I/c Medical Superintendent, Trauma Hospital Kangan has been directed to report in the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir.
Dr. Akhter Ganai, Medical Officer (MS Surgery), SDH Ganderbal has been transferred and posted in Block Sogam.
Dr. Mohammad Sadiq Mugal, Consultant Anesthesia, SDH. Kreeri has been transferred and posted in SDH, Sogam.
Dr. Fauzia Habib, DHO, Anantnag holding the additional charge of Dy. Chief Medical Officer, Anantnag has been transferred and posted as I/C Medical Superintendent, Police Hospital, Srinagar.
Dr. Anis Nabi, Dy. Chief Medical Officer, Rajouri has been transferred and posted as I/C Medical Superintendent DH, Rajouri against available vacancy.
Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Medical Officer, DH, Rajouri is transferred and posted as I/C DHO, Rajouri.
Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Consultant Paediatrics, DH, Rajouri has been transferred and posted in Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu vice Dr. Javed lqbal Giri who shall report to Directorate of Health Services, Jammu.
Dr. Rameshwar Singh Manhas, (MD, Psy), Medical Officer, CHC, Khour is transferred and posted in Psychiatric Hospital, Jammu.
Dr. Kiran Sharma, Medical Officer, Psychiatric Hospital, Jammu has been transferred and posted in CHC, Khour.
Dr. Meenakshi Wakhloo, Medical Officer, Psychiatric Hospital, Jammu has been transferred and posted in DH, Kathua.
Dr. Sikandar Chirag, Registrar, Government Medical College, Jammu has been transferred and posted in DH, Kathua.
Dr. Zahoor Ellahi Wani, Medial Officer, SDH, DH Pora, has been transferred and posted in PHC, Kilarn Kulgam.
Dr. Zaffar lqbal, Medical Officer, Baba Nagri Wangath, has been transferred and posted in Urban Health Centre Zakoora.
Dr. Shashi Bala Gupta, Medical Officer, DH, Kathua has been transferred and posted in PHC, Gohmanhasa.

Dr. Shaheen Shafi, Dental Surgeon, PHC, Vessu has been transferred and posted as Dental Surgeon, PHC Chanpora, Srinagar.

Doctors' "negligence" claims 2 lives

Sent to Isolation Ward of suspected swine flu patients, they died for want of treatment 2/28/2015 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report             Jammu, Feb 28: Due to alleged negligence on the part of health department, two patients died in the isolation wards meant for suspected swine flu cases at makeshift hospital in Col Chopra Nursing Home. One more case of GMCH doctors' alleged negligence came to the fore when the report of Dr Bhupinder Singh, a pediatrician tested negative for H1N1. He had died of respiratory problems last Thursday. The doctors had not bothered to examine him for some other disease. Similarly, a few days ago, a patient namely Raj Kumar died in the isolated ward of GMCH. He too was not affected with swine flu as per his medical report. He too failed to get the requisite treatment in the hospital.
