Police still clueless about kidnapped girl, family alleges case being suppressed

JAMMU, Sept 09: Once again police has failed to recover a alleged kidnapped girl, who is missing for last three months.

Family members of the girl alleged that their 21 year old daughter was kidnapped from the residence of her brother, where she had gone to attend some function and since then no one knows what happened to her.

It is pertinent to mentioned here that three months ago the girl had went to her brothers house at Jeewan Nagar but did not reach the house.

Her mother alleged that they suspect that their neibhours three sons at Akalapur, where they live are responsible for the alleged kidnapping. “Three brothers used to harass my daughter. However we did not lodge FIR as we belong to poor family”, she alleged.

However she alleged that when they approached the police station after their daughter vanished, police officials did not register their complaint since past two months.

He alleged that the police department is not helping them despite their pleas to investigate the mysterious disappearance.

Whenever she is go to police chowki, the chowki officer told he is doing his job, after that she go to police station the station officer also not replying her questions. She alleged that some low rank police officials also harassed her.

"Then you pray that you get her body back so there is an ending. To have this happen where we get her back alive” she added. She further said that she appealed to the higher authorities to see the matter and helping me for search my daughter, who have missed last three months.

Police source said that surprisingly, three months passed from the incident and police officials arrested only three people and other five people, who are involving in this kidnapping out of police net. The Police officials are not taking strict action to arrest other kidnappers and rescue the girls from them.

When contacted Station Police Officer (SHO) Satwari, Abid Rafiqui said I don’t have any knowledge about the said case, so it is better to contact concern police station for any information.
