JAMMU, Mar 5: Crime Branch (CB) Jammu will sent team to other state for trace out the E-mail fraudsters with the help of security agencies and Banks, which banks have account these E-mail thugs.

The crime branch Jammu about 25 cases has been registered in different in different under sections for last 4 Months.

Due to the lack of awareness the innocent people trapped illegally net but the concerned authorities not extend the awareness to common masses and caught the accused, who are involved these illegal activities. There are many people invested lakhs of Rupees in the fraudulently mails. The E-Mail frauders, who are targeting people claiming that they have won jackpot.

Source said that people have fallen to these cheats who send e-mail to the people announcing that they have won lottery or someone is sharing his share of property with the people. He mentioned that people are asked to submit money to receive the jackpot and one the money is transferred to the accounts created by the fraudsters, they vanish leaving the weeping people.

According to officials report, the e-mails users received the email at his yahoo, Gmail, Reddiffmail and Hotmail besides various other website were the accounts and the fake mails offering money or bumper prizes could be seen. Some people fill forms sent by these cheats and the pay money on the counterfeit accounts.

The counterfeiters also asked to send his photograph and proof of residence for getting the trust of users. It seems that the mails come from Delhi, Mumbai as well as out of countries.

Additional Superintended of Police (ASP), Crime Branch Jammu, Ranjit Singh Sambyal said that the department have received about 25 complaints from the past few months. The department has been tress out some Bank account of these Email frauds. He further said that the departments will a sent team to another state to check and accumulate the information about frauds. Also take a help with security agencies and concerned police station. He said after completely investigation they would arrest these Email frauds.
