Municipal court grants five days remand for Talo, Ajab

JAMMU, June 10:Municipal court Friday granted five days of police remand to the National Conference leader and his brother in the sensational Chopra murder case, informed sources said.

According to official source said that the Trikuta nagar Police after late night questioning, the police present in the Challan in the court at 2 pm after which the remand was given to the police.

They were produced in the Court by the Special Investigating Team led by SDPO Mukesh Kakker and SHO Trikuta Nagar.

Meanwhile transporters today held protest against the police outside the house of CM political advisor Devender Singh Rana. The transporters also have given call tomorrow strike in the entire Jammu city.

All Jammu and Kashmir Passengers Welfare Transporter Association (JKPWTA), Vice President Anil Chopra, said that the police arrested the Chairman of JKPWTA is yesterday under completely conspiracy against T S Wazir.
JKPWTA demanded to the state government as well Director of Police to reinvestigate the case again.

Police have already presented a challan against Sangram and associates. According to sources, a supplementary challan would be presented against Wazir, Ajab Singh and Nagar Singh for conspiracy to kill Chopras after completion of their interrogation.

Sanju, if not arrested by then, would be mentioned as an absconder in the challan. Inclusion of Simblia would depend upon the questioning.

According to sources, even though the police claimed to have worked out Chopra murder case after more than four and a half years, several questions still remained unanswered.

Doctors' "negligence" claims 2 lives
