12/11/2015 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report   Jammu, Dec 11: Contradicting the claims of Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department to restrict the entry of agents of some pharmacist shops in the government runs hospitals, but agents of some these shops openly roaming in the Emergency ward and other wards of Government Medical College (GMC) and Hospital Jammu to boost the sales of their shops. 12/3/2015 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report   Jammu, Dec 2: Most of the 31 blood banks in the state are operating without valid licenses in violation of norms as the licenses of these blood banks got expired during last few years. Moreover, the Drug and Food Control Organisation (DFCO) Jammu and Kashmir also found other deficiencies in the blood banks during its inspections. According to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, blood bank licenses are valid for five years. Central Licensing Approving Authority of Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), renews licenses after the state Drug and Food Control Organisation (DFCO) satisfies and recommends for renewal.
