Jammu,
July 4: Some employees of paramedical staff of Government Medical College (GMC)
and Hospital and its associated hospitals have not received salaries for the
last two months.
Sources
told Early Times that half of the paramedical staff did not get salary from May
this year, while some of their colleagues in are drawing their salaries
regularly. "Some of the staff members hailing from far-flung areas and
living in the city as tenants are the worst hit. They have to borrow money to
pay the monthly rent," a source said. A staff member, seeking anonymity,

concerned but in vain.
"We
were appointed through Medical Education department in the hospital, but we

their salaries every month," she added.
