No funds for Jammu hospitals' Security, Sanitation Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 7: The J&K government has not released funds for Government Medical College and Hospital and its associated hospitals' security for 2018-19. However, the administration claims that Special Police Officers (SPO) of the police department would be deployed to deal and monitor the situation of the GMC Jammu. Presently, security of the GMC Jammu and its associated hospitals is outsourced to a private firm for last many years. The administration has, however, failed to clear liabilities due to the shortage of funds. Sources told Early Times that the state government did not allocate funds.
