'GMC Principal wants wanton powers to play dictator'

JKSBOTE delaying exams indefinitely, students losing opportunities

8/4/2016 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report   JAMMU, Aug 3: Following unwarranted delay on the part of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE) in conducting examinations for various semesters of all polytechnic institutions, the students are feeling harassed and dejected for last three months as their chances for getting admissions for higher studies this academic year are bleak. GMC&H fails to beat fire in store, drugs worth lakhs gutted

  Fire-fighting system fails for sixth time in a row 8/3/2016 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report     jammu, Aug 2: For the sixth time in a row, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) failed to douse minor flames, this time generated in drug store, gutting drugs worth several lakhs of rupees, as fire-fighting system didn't work, signaling something fishy. Sources informed Early Times that in the last six months, nearly six incidents of fire were reported from various wings of GMC&H and its associate hospitals and every time the fire-fighting system didn't work, causing huge loss to the state exchequer.
