5/11/2016 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report   Jammu, May 10: The decision of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu to start evening clinics is likely to meet the same fate again because of the reluctance of most doctors against the initiative. Doctors of the GMC&H have been opposing the idea of evening clinics ever since the idea was mooted a couple of years ago to check and monitor the private practice by government doctors, which was banned by the state high court and also make the services of these doctors available to the Patients after the normal working hours. In a meeting held at the GMC&H on Tuesday, many doctors even threatened to quit their job if they were impelled to attend evening clinics. However, officials of the hospital claims that keeping in view of patient care especially for those who visit far-flung areas, the timings has been changed of the hospital and its associated hospital so better health services would be provide to them.
