Panic gripped GMCH after power failure left patients gasping for life

  10/21/2015 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report   Jammu, Oct 20: The critical patient care system came to stand still today at premier health institute of the region-Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu due to power failure, courtesy mismanagement at the part of the administration of the hospital. According to hospital sources the patients and attendants along with doctors on duty were forced to spend hours without light as two supply lines got destroyed due to short circuit and power backup completely got shattered at GMCH Jammu on Tuesday. Ironically the costly generators too failed to come to the rescue of the situation in the critical hours as the 'white elephants ' installed there reported to be non-functional due to the want of the fuel which was reportedly out of stock. Medical traders smell conspiracy 'closure' of 'e- tendering for drug supply'

 10/20/2015  Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report  Jammu, Oct 19: Alleging a conspiracy in online i.e. e-tendering for drug supply, All Medical Traders from within and outside the State said in order to favour only 'blue eyed traders' the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supply Corporation (JKMSC) Ltd has closed the tendering process despite their repeated requests that the internet services were down. "Keeping in view of serious situation of State and poor networking i.e. speed of internet net and the ground situation across the State following the death of a youth- a victim of Udhampur petrol bomb attack, the All Medical Traders have requested to the administration of JKMSC to extend the date of online tender. Battery Operated Vehicles turn into junk at Patnitop 10/19/2015 Nitesh Sangral Early Times Report   Jammu, Oct 18: Squandering irresponsibly Rs 27.38 lakh of the tax payers' money, two Battery Operated Vehicles procured by Patnitop Development Authority on the pretext of promoting tourism have been lying unused. Bhagat Singh Force, an organization that filed an RTI, alleged that two Battery powered Road Vehicles were purchased from M/S Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), a Govt. of India Undertaking in June 2004, to curb Environmental pollution and promote eco-friendly tourism, after a proposal was placed in the 2nd meeting of Patnitop Development Authority under the Chairmanship of then Chief Minister.
